You know it ain't good BBQ in Austin unless it has a line, but La Barbecue is worth the wait! This melt-in-your-mouth BBQ is delicious, hormone free, and sources its beef from a local ranch. Though actually a trailer, La Barbecue has partnered with it's neighbor Quickie Pickie convenient store so you can sit inside and enjoy some AC! The fact that they are female-owned may not sound like a big deal, but in the sausage fest of the BBQ industry, this joint is proud that the future is female.

Connect with the baddest bitch in Austin, mother nature herself, at Barton Springs Pool! This (wo)manmade pool, measuring three acres in size, was created from dams built off of Barton Creek and is surrounded by grassy lawns perfect for lounging. The pool is fed from underground springs with an average temperature of 68-70 degrees, ideal for year-round swimming (and people watching!)
